The Darpan Palace Hotel is our family-run hotel in Paharganj, Delhi.

The hotel is located in the same building as our Blockprint printing workshop and our Blockprint shop.

Darpan Palace is a simple, clean and charming hotel for travellers who want to experience Delhi in an authentic way.

 

It is located just off the well-known Arakashan Road, in a small side street away from the main traffic.

This means you are close to the lively atmosphere of Paharganj while staying slightly away from the noise

of the main road.

our workshops if you wish.

• 1-Day Blockprint Workshop – spend a full day printing fabric by hand using traditional wooden blocks

• Block Carving Workshop – learn how to carve your own traditional wooden printing block

• Indigo & Shibori Workshop – create your own textile using traditional dyeing and Shibori techniques

• Multi-Day and Week Courses – explore Blockprint, block carving and traditional textile techniques in greater depth

Our Blockprint shop is also located in the same building. Here you can find a selection of hand-carved Indian wooden printing blocks, textiles and other products related to traditional Blockprint.

Just Stay and Explore Delhi

You don’t have to take part in a workshop.

You are very welcome to simply stay at Darpan Palace, sleep well and use the hotel as your base for exploring Delhi.
